Tailored DETAIl
Sunshine Coast Car Upholstery
The feel of a car changes when the interior is properly finished. At McCormick Upholstery in Coolum Beach we shape truck and car upholstery with clarity and control, working across the Sunshine Coast to restore, replace and refine interiors with a cleaner line and stronger structure.
We retrim modern and classic vehicles and craft custom finishes that don’t just look right, but sit right. Every cut, stitch and contour is designed around the driver, not a template. Whether it’s a full reupholster or a single detail, our work speaks through proportion and restraint. Call us on 07 5446 2134 to schedule your auto upholstery.
Refined Interiors
Auto Upholstery That Holds Its Shape
We refit vehicles across all makes and models, from high-performance utes to vintage sedans. We don’t disguise flaws — we rebuild them. Our leather, vinyl and woven textiles are chosen for how they provide balance, not just how they look.
Our attention to detail is what keeps our customers coming back. We offer advice and suggestions for any customer wanting unique upholstery for their cars or motor-bikes.

What to Know Before You Start
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I upgrade to leather if my car didn’t come with it?
Yes, provided the frame and seat design allow for it. Many factory cloth interiors can be re-trimmed in leather or commercial-grade vinyl. We measure and rebuild the seats to maintain form, firmness and structure, giving the finish a factory-level fit without looking mass produced.
How do you handle classic or vintage vehicle interiors?
We approach them with a preservation mindset. Where possible, original details are rebuilt, not replaced. If materials are unavailable, we match grain, tone and stitch profiles closely. We consider how the vehicle was made, and apply that standard to the restoration with tighter execution and modern comfort.
Can you reupholster headliners and door cards too?
Absolutely. These components affect the feel of the interior more than most people realise. A loose headliner or poorly trimmed door can age a car fast. We rebuild them with sharp edges, clean lines and consistent tension so they frame the cabin properly.
